VISITING POLICY

Visiting Policy Due Covid-19

1. Visiting Hours

Visiting hours at The Home are from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm, Monday to Sunday. Please note that your period is only 40 minutes given for 1 appointment.

2. Visitors

Only 2 visitors are allowed on the porch, visitors must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (two doses of Pfizer vaccine, Astrazeneca, Sinovac, Moderna or one dose of J&J) Vaccinated visitors must show official proof of vaccination such as card vaccination or MySejahtera.

3. Mask and Temperature Check

Visitors must undergo a temperature check upon arrival, perform hand hygiene and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times. Please be especially careful to wear a mask on your nose and mouth.

4. Visitors Age

Visitors must be 12 years of age or older, except in special circumstances. Children below 12 are not encouraged at the General High Dependency Unit area and The Home reserves the right to restrict them.

5. Sick Visitors

Sick visitors will not be allowed into The Home; This is no exception.

6. Taking The Resident Out

Family members or representatives are not allowed to take The Resident out without any prior approval from The Home.

7. Unforeseen Circumstances or Mishaps During Any Visitation

The Home will not be liable for any unforeseen circumstances or mishaps that may occur during any visitation or outing, whether it is organized by The Home or the family members/representative.

8. Personal Health Care Provider

The Home must be given prior notice if the family members/representative plans to bring a personal doctor/nurse/physiotherapist/any other related health care provider to examine or attend to The Resident.

9. The Resident's Furnitures

Visitors are not allowed to sit or lie on The Resident’s bed. Never touch any wounds, drips, trachy, lines, tubes or perform any cleaning, procedures etc on The Resident.

10. Flowers

Flowers are not allowed to be in the General High Dependency Unit to prevent the spread of infection.

11. Nurse

Visitors may be asked to step outside at any time to allow nurses time to care for The Resident.

12. Mobile Phones and Cameras

Mobile phones and cameras are strictly not allowed in the HOME. All photos taken are for personal use only and not to be circulated through social or traditional media.

The Resident and The Representative confirm that they have read and understood and agree to be bound by the visiting policy of The Home and agree to indemnify The Home and keep The Home full and effectively indemnified against any loss or damage incurred by The Home arising from any breach of the visiting policy.
