You know what everyday objects actually can trigger positive emotions and memories for your Dementia/Alzheimers mom/dad.


Just using everyday objects may stimulate a sense that can trigger their emotions and memories in seniors with Alzheimer’s who have lost their ability to connect with the world around them.


Seen in this picture, our Activity Coordinator helped the elders paint by using balloon and finger print on the drawing paper. It creates beautiful abstract too where you can frame it on your wall


Islamic Class or teaching are one of the pillars of every activity we provide here at ZACC MYTOWN. Our Ustaz is always here on a daily basis to offer teaching, and help for those in need.

Other than this, we have a scheduled program too for everyone here at ZACC MYTOWN including the Carer.

Are one of those important activities here at ZACC MYTOWN. Our in-house qualified and trained therapist is always ready to plan out their care plan throughout their stay.

Rehabilitation is as important as improving the general health and ability of elderly individuals.

At ZACC MYTOWN we will work with each individual elderly patient and help them to optimise their quality and enjoyment of life.

We even have short/long term care for Rehab. Post-surgery patients can opt to stay here too to get their much needed rehab before going home.


Many will agree with us that stimulating activities is as important as your medicine. It will keep them engaging and stir memories by lessening any anxiety or irritability that Alzheimers or Dementia may bring.


In the early to middle stages of dementia, there are many suitable activities. Board games, drawing, seated exercise and many more. Walking, gardening and housework are also good forms of everyday physical activity.


The most important thing is that you establish consistent routines and remain engaged in an activity. Focus on the activity, not the outcome
